The Revolution celebrates 2nd year with Dot Cromwell, Elle Winston, MAE.SUN, beccs + more

Williamsburg venue National Sawdust is showcasing five emerging NYC based artists in the 25th monthly installment of "THE REVOLUTION," which coincides with the serie's second anniversary. This is a local musical movement that empowers community, change, and activism through performance and unity amongst the arts.

The acts featured this time around are Manhattan via Philly rapper Dot Cromwell, singer songwriter with operatic influences beccs, soul pop acts Elle Winston and Meridian Lights, and contemporary jazz ensemble MAE.SUN - you can listen to all of them in the embedded playlist.

National Sawdust touts these artists as being at the center of innovation within their genres, and seeks to highlight them as such with this event scheduled for Saturday, March 24th. - Alexander Beebe





Elle Winston plays National Sawdust's The Revolution Vol. 14 with LUECK on April 22

On Saturday, April 22nd, NYC soul singer Elle Winston will perform at National Sawdust in Brooklyn as a part of the emerging performance series The Revolution. This show is sponsored by The Deli NYC. The series highlights "Brooklyn & Harlem based artists and musicians that not only represent the core of independent pop culture in 2017 but who currently stand in the breeding ground of evolution within their genre." Emerging singer songwriter (and film maker) LUECK will be opening a bill that will be headlined by Los Angeles' talented guitarist/songwriter Emily Elbert. - Geena Kloeppel

The Hum returns on 10.10 w/ Space Captain, Iris Lune, and MADEIRA + more

After a super successful first night, and an allstar line-up, Deli NYC sponsored event The Hum returns for its second week at beautifully intimate Greenpoint venue Manhattan Inn. For those just tuning in now, the month-long residency, presented by Hypnocraft, is aimed at spotlighting female musicians across a wide variety of genres, and inspires unexpected collaborations. Monday night's line up promises to be atmospheric and experimental, including musicians from Space CaptainIris Lune, and MADEIRA.
