New Track: "Of Wandering" - Littler

Juxtaposition plays an important role in “Of Wandering,” the latest song to surface and title track from Littler’s debut album, scheduled for release on March 25 via Birdtapes. Images of emotional closeness are contrasted with the loneliness of connections lost and a desire to break loose. Instrumentally, it stirs with a heavy, resonating grit,  which accompanies the vocal sentiments, Littler is part of a stacked billing on Friday, March 18 at First Unitarian Church that also includes Dark Thoughts, Amanda X, Cayetana, and Screaming Females. New Track: "Slippery" - Littler

Take a listen to” Slippery”, the latest offering from Littler’s forthcoming release Of Wandering, due out via Birdtapes on March 25. The song’s collage of images creates a sincere narrative thrown forward by  its’ gritty melodic tone. New Track: "Not My Market" - Littler

Madeline Meyer and Dan Colanduno split vocal duties in Littler’s latest single “Not My Market,” which you can stream over at Post-Trash. The song serves as a precursor to the band’s spring scheduled album release Of Wandering, which finds Swearin’s Kyle Gilbride in the producer role and will be available via Brooklyn indie label Birdtapes. Sprung by casual rolling backend the calm vocal interplay shines, and are met by rushes of instrumental aggression. That duality of the force and finesse ultimately concludes with a final push toward the finish line - “You’re not my market anyway.” Littler is set to perform at Everybody Hits on Monday, December 28, along with Free Cake For Every Creature, Sedna's not alone, and Sports. Radiator Hospital Opening for The Max Levine Ensemble at PhilaMOCA Nov. 24

After a packed tour schedule over the last couple months, Radiator Hospital is ready for some home cooking tonight at PhilaMOCA. Their latest release, a 7” split with recent tour mates Martha, captures the band’s penchant for creating music that wields endearing, exposed narratives that transplant listeners into a universally personal space with tightly coiled energy that springs you into action. It finds a way to hit home, while getting listeners to go somewhere. With unfiltered lyrical angst meshing with a gritty instrumental determination, Littler combines contemplations with a steady decisiveness. And armed with a new record Backlash, Baby, which was just released via Lame-O Records, DC pop-punk trio The Max Levine Ensemble completes the billing. Littler Opening for Ought & LVL UP at Boot & Saddle Oct. 5

The continuous sense of considering your next move and hoping it’s a step in the right direction, second-guessing catching your mind in gridlock - Littler seems to get that. As we await the release aptly titled Of Wandering, the grunge-punk four-piece opens this evening at Boot & Saddle. Littler finds space to cut in close, unfiltered in lyrical integrity while stepping out and smashing ahead, blasting the roadblocks - consciously contemplative and yet unafraid. The melodically heavy, grit-oozing, earnest sound of LVL UP sticks in your head in the middle slot, while Montreal post-punks Ought headline, touring in support of their freshly released sophomore LP Sun Coming Down.
