Nikko Blue "Harder To Breathe"

Post Hardcore group Nikko Blue recently released their latest single, "Harder To Breather".

You can catch Nikko Blue at The Promontory on June 22nd with Scarlet Demore, We Weren't Invited, and The Fundamental Kink. They will also be performing at Reggie's on July 16th as part of "For The Love"

Meat Wave "Ridiculous Car"

DIY Punk trio Meat Wave are back with the second single, "Ridiculous Car", from their forthcoming album which is due out this Fall via Swami Records.

The new single and accompanying lyric video are a proper salute to, as the band puts it, "bros who zoom down the expressway weaving through traffic like they’re playing 'Grand Theft Auto’".

Meat Wave will be performing as part of Logan Square Arts Festival which takes place June 24th through 26th.

The Breathing Light "Love Buss Down"

Punk trio The Breathing Light have released their latest EP, "Love Buss Down", via Don't Panic Records. This marks their first vinyl release and first new music since 2018.

Long Gone “Wear Me Out”

Pop Punk trio Long Gone are back with a new single called "Wear Me Out". This follows the acoustic EP, "Something Acoustic", the group released back in February.

Long Gone is Matthew DeSchepper (vocals, guitar), Trevor Hancock (drums), and Patrick Smith (guitar).

Backroom "Dysfunctional" and "Blotted Papers"

Backroom have released two new singles, "Dysfunctional" and "Blotted Papers", over the last two months and played a series of shows this Spring that have brought a lot of positive attention their way.

These are the Emo Punk sounds of Fiona Garrity, Robbie Green, Noah Soulsby, and Edre.

You can catch Backroom at The WC Social Club in West Chicago on July 3rd with BADBRATZ, Broken Souls Cult, and The Publik.
