Thompson Springs have released a new single called "Out of Range". This is the first of ten songs to be released from a recording session the group had last year with producer Pat Keen.

For the session the six piece group consisted of Matt Smith (Acoustic guitar/vocals), Jeff Sullivan (Electric guitar), Ryan Suzuka (Harmonica), Pat Leary (Keyboards), Jacob Bicknase (Drums), and David Thrift (Bass and backing vocals).

Punksqueeze released a new single and video called "Straight Girl Crush" late last month and now have dropped a new single and lyric video called "Couch to 5k".

Both singles are taken for the group's forthcoming album, Be Gay Have Fun!, which is due out in May.

The Nettes have released a new single called "The Loudest Voice". This is the Folk pop trio of Alex Fiolek, Kristina Cottone, and Sonya Major, and the group recently performed another single from their forthcoming album, "Another Bet", on the car, music, and food driven local podcast Car Con Carne.

Composer, recording artist and performer, saxophonist Shawn Maxwell is preparing to release his 11th studio album, Story at Eleven, tomorrow, March 24th.

This is the first new music from Maxwell since his 2021 album, Expectation & Experience. For this project he took a slightly different approach, and has composed a long-form piece broken into four distinct movements.

On this album Maxwell is joined by Collin Clauson (Rhodes, Wurlitzer, B-3), Michael Barton (Electric Bass), and Greg Essig (Drums).
