Boo Riley Releases A New Single, "Mango Garry"

Manhattan-based artist Austin Lesch (aka Boo Riley)'s most recent single, "Mango Garry," is a clever, mid-tempo track vaguely remenescient of Steely Dan that will send you back to that sunny era in the '80s when you could hear quality pop rock on the radio. From the beginning, the song is packed with sophisticated songwriting twists and held together by Lesch's smooth, made-for-radio vocals. The song opens a three-track, impeccably produced and performed EP - you can stream it below. - Susan Moon

New Luke Harsel Album Available for Streaming & Download

Luke Harsel (of Dweller) has released a collection of songs, titled Objects in the Mirror. Absorb the ambient-folk sounds as they provide a graceful, gliding, slightly-warped atmosphere. It is best to be listened to when day turns to night and night turns to day. Tomorrow evening, you can find Harsel performing with Dweller at The Grape Room, with The Barker Brothers, Coleman Rigg & The Ridge Runners, and The Savories.

Cannons' "Fire for You" sparks disco fever, release debut album Shadows

Electro-pop trio Cannons have released their debut album, Shadows, featuring headlining powerhouse, “Fire for You." Vocalist Michelle Joy pushes out beautifully nostalgic lyrics of love, loss, and everything few and far between. Ryan Clapham and Paul Davis complete this trio, painting colorful baselines with a funky disco charm that keeps your head wrapped in a warm, hazy atmosphere—perfect for the Monday blues or the Friday jitters. There is no doubt in my mind that this album is slowly becoming the fuel to my work week.

Shadows is out now via AntiFragile Music. Kayla Hay
